Stats
The basketball card renders four columns: PPG, RPG, APG and FG%. Per-game averages carry a decimal and a percentage sign carries a symbol — both are places generated text reliably falls apart, and both are typed by you and drawn as vector here.
The backdrop
Basketball composites onto a hardwood court: a warm overhead key, board seams running across the floor, a free-throw key drawn in perspective, and a deep out-of-focus crowd. All vector, all print-safe.
What photo to send
Gym lighting is the whole problem. Overhead fluorescents come straight down, so the brow and nose cast hard shadows over the eyes, and the shutter speed needed indoors leaves motion blur on anyone actually playing. A still photo — warmups, the bench, a posed shot after the game — consistently produces a better card than an action shot from the same gym. If you only have action shots, pick the one where the subject is squarest to the camera, not the most dramatic one.
